We will discuss the results with you and decide what treatment you need. At this appointment we will assess you and you may have x-rays. Your appointment letter will tell you where to go for your first appointment. In addition, we direct referrals for patients requiring special care dental treatment in a hospital to appropriate South London hospitals.
We also provide a service for plus-size (bariatric) patients, and those who need a home visit or who are homeless. Our service provides a full range of dental treatment and oral healthcare for patients for whom treatment by a general dental practice is unsuitable. We see them at 20 community-based health centres and sites in South London, including our Mobile Dental Unit. We provide special care dental treatment for people who live in Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Croydon, Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth.
